Savebox is the is the smart breaker box my team created for the Santa Calara Univeristy Hack for Humanity 2026. Savebox that allows you to plan, manage, and control your household energy usage. The physical hardware includes an E-ink Display, ESP32, 4 OLED Displays, 4 Buttons, that allow users to control the 4 circuits connected to it. The hardware connects to an App that allows use to manage and plan their electricity usage from outside of their homes. Together, these create an energy saving platform designed for users to monitor, manage, and control their household electricity consumption.
I worked on the physical assembly, embedded programming, and product presentation. Ultimately, we won 1st Place Overall out of all 79 projects submitted to the hackathon.
